Professional Beginnings in Allergology

I began my professional career in the Allergology Department of the Hospital Materno-Infantil del Vall d’Hebrón in Barcelona in 2002, where for three years I provided care, teaching, and research in the following fields:

· Respiratory Allergy.
· Food Allergy.
· Skin Allergy.
· Immunotherapy.
· Atopic Dermatitis.
· Contact Dermatitis.
· Drug Allergy.

Experience in Reference Hospitals and Clinics

Later, in 2004, I joined the “Sant Joan de Déu” Hospital in Manresa as an assistant physician in the Pediatric Allergy and Pulmonology Department until 2006. During this period, I also worked in the evenings as an assistant physician in Allergology at the Agustí Vidal Institute of the Quirón Clinic in Barcelona. These were years of hard work and learning.

Creation of the Allergology Unit in Palma de Mallorca

Personal reasons led me to Palma de Mallorca, where I began my professional career in February 2007, creating the Allergology and Clinical Immunology Unit at the Miramar Polyclinic.

Participation in scientific societies and notable activities

I am a member of various scientific societies:

SEAIC: Spanish Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology.

SEICAP: Spanish Society of Pediatric Allergology and Clinical Immunology.

I have actively participated in different areas of the specialty, both locally and nationally:

· Local organizing committee of the 23rd SEICAP Congress.

· 1st Open Days for allergy patients and their environment, in close collaboration with the Palma City Council, the Balearic Islands Government, UIB, and AEPNAA.

Management of the Allergy and Asthma Unit at Juaneda Miramar

I currently manage the Allergy and Asthma Unit at Juaneda Miramar in Palma de Mallorca, a personal project where I work, contributing my utmost professionalism and seriousness, always at the service of people affected by allergic pathologies.
